Non-verbal performance
All ages / 250+ persons (depending on location) / 180° to 360°
25 min. / 1 or 2 times per day. Minimum 1.5 hrs between shows.
3 persons (+ production manager when required).
The team includes our own technician / puller, who is the single technical point of contact for the production. The festival’s technical team communicates directly with our technician regarding the performance space, rigging point and all on-site technical provisions (equipment, hardware, load ratings, access, timings). All technical questions and confirmations should be addressed to them.
A pre-production video call between the festival’s technical lead and our technician is required no later than 2–4 weeks before the get-in, to confirm the rigging point, on-site equipment and schedule.
A technical video will be shared in advance to ensure full understanding of the key cues.
7 × 7 m level surface minimum — larger is very welcome.
Centred rigging point at minimum 7 m high (best option: 8–9 m), 300 kg WL.
An additional anchor / wall point on side stage, 200 kg WL.
We can bring our own rig by car (at reasonable extra cost).
Please provide a white or grey dance carpet if we perform on stone or asphalt. Performance on grass is possible — to be discussed in advance.
Overhead clearance & swing envelope. The area above and around the rigging point must be free of any obstruction (beams, trusses, lighting fixtures, cables, tree branches, etc.) within the full swing radius of the aerial rope and the suspended stone. The exact clearance must be agreed in advance with our technician, as the required amplitude depends on the venue and the version of the show.
Access to the rigging point. The organiser provides suitable access equipment for installing the rigging (ladder, scaffolding, scissor lift or genie lift, depending on height and venue), and the corresponding qualified operator when required. To be confirmed in advance with our technician.
Puller position. A dedicated area on side stage for our technician / puller, with a clear line of sight to the performer and to the suspended stone throughout the entire performance.
Standard 230 V / 50 Hz (EU Schuko sockets), grounded, on stable mains supply.
Minimum 2 outlets required: 1 × at FOH (mixing console, festival sound and lighting equipment); 1 × on stage at our laptop / controller position.
The organiser provides: PA system with mixing console adapted to the venue, and a qualified sound technician on site during set-up, sound check and performance.
During the performance we use a MIDI controller + laptop on stage with two output options: RCA and mini-jack 3.5 mm. Please provide a cable run from FOH to stage (performer position to be confirmed on site) and an active 2-channel D.I. box with suitable cabling connecting controller outputs to the mixing console.
A stage monitor / wedge facing the performance area is required — the performer must clearly hear the music at all times (aerial timing depends on it). A sound check on the PA is required before every performance (minimum 20 minutes).
If we perform at night, lighting is required.
The lighting design is agreed in advance and tested on-site before the performance for safety purposes.
Before the festival, we ask organisers to help source a suitable stone on site — this is part of the concept of the performance. If not possible, we bring our own: +1 checked bag, max. 23 kg (extra luggage costs apply).
3 hrs first build-up / 30 min. following build-ups / 30 min. dismantle. Rigging the stone takes approx. 1 hr in a calm, dedicated space.
A full technical rehearsal with sound, light and rigging in place is required on stage before the first show (approx. 1 hr, after build-up, before the audience). All festival technicians involved (sound, light, riggers, stagehands) must attend.
All festival equipment must be monitored during breaks and overnight, including safe storage for our pulley system.
We take care of our own equipment.
A secure area close to the stage, with 2 chairs, a mirror, running water and a 4 × 4 m flat floor for warm-up. Fruits and drinks are greatly appreciated.
We cannot perform in heavy rain or strong wind, or in temperatures below 10 °C or above 30 °C in direct sunlight.
The team travels from Berlin (DE) and Limassol (CY), preferably by train (flights possible). We carry 3 suitcases, 3 items of hand luggage and 1 rigging bag (checked, up to 23 kg). Airport / station pickup is always warmly welcomed.
If an overnight stay is required, we need 3 single rooms. No dietary restrictions or allergies; vegetarian meals preferred.
Organiser-written promo / press text about the artist needs the artist’s approval before publication (artist-supplied text does not). Photo / video used for promotion must credit its author where identified.
